The spectrum of scientific cooperation between the Institute of Botany of ANAS and Russian scientific centers is expanded. It is possible to emphasize the Agreement on Scientific Cooperation with Moscow State University, Faculty of Biology. The agreement directed to the development of science was signed between academician Valida Alizade, director of the Institute of Botany and academician Mikhail Kirpichnikov, Dean of Faculty of Biology, Moscow State University. According to the document the sides agreed to conduct joint studies on the systematics, phylogeny, ecology, physiology and biochemistry of fungi, algae and plants, to exchange natural samples, herbarium specimens and pure culture and hold meetings, workshops and conferences by involving the concerned parties.
