Dr. Rashad Salimov, head of the Department of Education of the Institute of Botany of ANAS participated in the internship program of young research fellows organized by body of the Interngovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).
     The goal of the event is to develop appropriate knowledge and skills of young fellows involved to 6 different assessments which continue on biodiversity and ecosystem services of IPBES, share interesting and useful information through discussions and strengthen mutual collaboration.
    Note that R.Salimov was chosen as one of 16 fellows among 246 candidates for internship program of IPBES young research fellows.
     The program will give participants the opportunity to develop their traditional and local knowledge with regards to biodiversity and ecosystem services and participate in preparation of the policy at early stages of their career.
