An employee of the Institute for Sustainable Plant Protection IPSP of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), prof. Biankaelena Maserti is on a working visit to the Institute of Botany of ANAS.
     Within the framework of the visit, a seminar was held with the participation of an Italian scientist.
     At the event, B.Maserti delivered a report on "Assessment of the health status of chestnut trees in Azerbaijan: chestnut cancer and associated fungal diseases" project.
     In addition, the report was presented by the head of the Laboratory of Mycology at the Institute of Botany, Dr.Sc. in biology Dilzara Agaeva " Cryphonectria parasitica in chestnut trees in Azerbaijan and the current state of the disease ".
     Later organized joint expeditions to Gabala and Goychay districts.
