Central Botanical Garden grown flower after Lotfi Zadeh

     A new variety of rose grown by the head of the Laboratory of Floriculture of the Central Botanical Garden of ANAS, PhD. in Biology Asaf Iskenderov, after the world-famous Azerbaijani scientist, Professor of the University of Berkeley, Lotfi Zadeh.

     "Professor Lotfi Zadeh" rose refers to the tea-hybrid group and was grown in 2010 by methods of selection and hybridization.

     The plant belonging to different garden groups (Swan Lake LCI x Enric Palou HT) differs from other flowers in its color and biomorphological features.

     Currently, is being tested the cultivation of a new flower variety in a greenhouse.
