ANAS Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology held a commemoration ceremony dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist and social and political figure, the creator of new trends in biological science in Azerbaijan, Academician Jalal Aliyev. First, participants of the event visited the Alley of Honor, where they visited the tomb of the world-famed scientist, Academician Jalal Aliyev, who made an exceptional contribution to the development of Azerbaijani science.

Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of ANAS, Academician Irada Huseynova  brought to the attention of that, world-renowned scientist and breeder, Academician Jalal Aliyev constantly sharing his experience with scientists and specialists. She added that, his experience is used in scientific conferences and seminars.

I.Huseynova noted that the work of the scientist was highly appreciated by our state, and he was awarded a number of high state awards.

Sharing memories of academician Jalal Aliyev, I.Huseynova stressed that the bright memory of a prominent scientist who made a valuable contribution to science will live in the hearts of Azerbaijanis and those who knew him.

At the end of the event was shown the film "Eternal Light", dedicated to academician Jalal Aliyev. The script tells about the endless energy of Jalal Aliyev, his scientific heritage and irreplaceable contributions to biological science.

The film aroused great interest among the audience.
