In December 2018, active member member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Prize Laureate, Honored Scientist, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Valery Ivanovich Ulyanishchev is 120.

     Academician Valery Ulyanishchev has made significant contributions to the study of topical problems of biological sciences in Azerbaijan, as well as the solution of a number of issues of great importance for agriculture, with fundamental research on the microflora of Azerbaijan and significant achievements in this field.

     Taking into account paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and taking into account the long-term effective activity in the development of biological sciences in Azerbaijan, training highly qualified personnel in order to ensure the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the birth of academician Valery Ivanovich Ulyanishchev, I decree:

1. Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences develop and implement an action plan dedicated to the 120th anniversary of academician Valery Ulyanishchev,.

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve issues arising from this Order.
