The “Open Door” Day was organized for the pupils of secondary school № 38 in Baku Zoological Museum, which is located at the Institute of Zoology of ANAS.

     Students were informed about the current population status of the species included in the fund of the museum and the different classes of vertebrate animals (fish, aquatic creatures, reptiles, birds and mammals), number of species in nature, their ecological features.

     During the Open Day, schoolchildren were informed about the work done to protect rare and endangered species included in the Red Book of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
