Master’s student of the Institute of Botany of ANAS, Elnare Isgenderli was on business trip to Sustainable Plant Protection of Italian National Research Council (INRC) In Turin. The business trip was carried out on the basis of the scientific collaboration signed between the Institute of Botany of ANAS and INRC.

Under the leadership of prof. Dr.Massimo Turino, E. Isgandarli studied one part of her diploma work “Search of dsRNT in the population of fungus Cryphonectria parasita and determination of lactase activity” at the Sustainable Plant Protection of INRC. Samples of invasive Cryphonectria parasitica harming chestnut tree collected from different regions of Azerbaijan were investigated with present-day methods as well as methods of the extraction of dsRNT and characterization with real time PCR were studied.
