Established Khojaly genocide complex in Ankara with the scientific support of the Institute of History

ANAS Institute of History met with Ahmad Baba, Chairman of the Association of Historical Nations and Societies of Turkey (AHNST).

Opening the event, director of the enterprise, academician Yagub Mahmudov recalled the words of national leader Heydar Aliyev "One nation, two states" and spoke about friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.

Afterwards, Ahmad Baba said that the two countries underpin each other in the most difficult times. He said the Khojaly genocide park and a memorial complex were built in Ankara under the agreement signed between AHNST and Yildirim Beyazid University. He noted that the complex is being built on the territory of the university with the scientific support of ANAS Institute of History.

Finally, Y.Mahmudov presented publications of the Institute of History to the Association of Historical Nations and Societies of Turkey.
