On July 30, an online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS (DBMS) was held.

Opening the event, which was held on the "Zoom" platform, with an introductory speech, Vice-President of ANAS, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the division, academician Irada Huseynova introduced the participants to the issues on the agenda.

First of all, the scientist spoke about the work done, aimed at organizing the publishing activities of the OBMN at a high level, and further plans. She emphasized the need for the institutes of the department to regularly prepare scientific articles for publication in the journals "Reports of ANAS" and "Life Sciences and Biomedicine". Also, the academician gave appropriate instructions on the presentation of scientific reports for listening at meetings of the Academic Council of the department.

During the meeting, the heads of the institutes were instructed to submit their proposals to the DSP by September, related to bringing the research carried out in scientific institutions in line with modern requirements and revising the directions of scientific research.
