The employees of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Invertebrates of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS - Doctor of Biological Sciences Natalya Snegova, Ph.D. in Biology Gular HuseynzadeH and Ilhama Karimova had an expedition in Ismayilli region to collect entomological material.
During the expedition, despite the cloudy, drizzle and rainy weather, a number of larval and adult individual specimens of Odonata, Orthoptera, Formicidae, Arachnidae families were collected from the region and surrounding areas. In the area of Ivanovka village, vineyards, forests around the reservoir were examined and species of apricots were collected, materials were provided with labels and prepared for use in the laboratory.
