A group of international paleontologists led by specialists from the University of Winnipeg in Canada has found a new species of man. A new species called “Homo bodoensis” can be associated with the today’sinhabitants of Africa and South-eastern Europe.
It is noted that “homo bodoensis” lived in Africa approximately 500 thousand years ago and was the direct ancestor of modern humans.Specialists have re-analyzed the known human remains belonging to this period from Africa and Eurasia.
According to the new estimatesthis species can be re-classified as the remains of Neanderthals.
