The General Meeting of the Scientific Council of the Division of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS was held.

Opening the meeting, vice-president of ANAS, chairman of the scientific council of the Division, academician IradaHuseynova acquainted the participants with the current issues.

The first issue discussed was the elections to the position of Director General of the Central Botanical Garden of ANAS.Then NatigAllahverdiyev was elected as the director general of the Central Botanical Garden of ANAS by open voting.

Then the issue of creating a Department for Work with Documents within the Central Botanical Garden of ANAS was considered and a positive decision was made.
