The next meeting of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences was held on November 24.

The meeting was attended by the President of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, other members of the Presidium, academicians - Arif Hashimov, Isa Habibbayli, Ibrahim Guliyev, Dilgam Tagiyev, Rasim Alguliyev, Tofig Nagiyev, Jamil Aliyev, Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, Fikret Aliyev, Adil Garibov, as well as Head of the Presidium apparatus, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Seyfal Hasanov, Head of the Secretariat of the President of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences, Associate Professor Eldar Amirov and invited guests.

First, the President of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev congratulated the corresponding member of ANAS Sevda Mammadaliyeva on the 75th anniversary, the corresponding member of ANAS Arif Mammadov on the 80th anniversary, the corresponding member of ANAS Masuma Mammadova on the 70th anniversary and the corresponding member of ANAS Gudrat Kalbaliyev on the 75th anniversary. He presented his honorary diploma.

Then a number of scientific and organizational issues were discussed, first of all, the regulations of the Department of Social Services of the Department of Affairs of the Presidium of ANAS were approved.
