The microbiologist winners of the EcoWorld-2021 competition, have been awarded.

The awarding ceremony of the winners of the EcoWorld-2021 international environmental competition held by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences was held. The ceremony was attended by participants from many countries online.

According to the results of the competition, the head of the Laboratory of Soil Microbiology of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS, Dr. Biology, Associate Professor Samira Najafova, employees of that laboratory Dr. Biology., Professor Nariman Ismayilov and Ph.D. Aygun Gasimova was awarded the II degree laureate diploma in the nomination "Protection of biodiversity and natural landscapes" for a series of textbooks and publications on "Development and use of biopreparations for the restoration of disturbed lands."

The EcoWorld Prize was established in 2003 by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. The purpose of the competition is to solve environmental problems, protect biodiversity, educate and educate the population, and restore ecological balance.
