The National Liberation Day was celebrated at the Botany Institute

Today, an event dedicated to June 15 - National Liberation Day was held at ANAS Institute of Botany.

The general director of the Institute, doctor of biological sciences, professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva noted that the National Liberation Day is a turning point in the history of our statehood. He said that in 1993, the great leader Heydar Aliyev, who set an example of sacrifice for the salvation of Azerbaijan, returned to power at the insistence and demand of the people and managed to get our country out of a difficult situation. The civil conflict in Azerbaijan has been put to an end once and for all, and our country has been saved from chaos, political strife, and socio-economic crisis. This historical day is the celebration of the independence of modern Azerbaijan, the beginning of legal state building. Currently, that policy is being continued by President Ilham Aliyev with confidence and determination.

In his speech, the executive director of the institute, doctor of biological sciences, Shakir Gasimov, talked about the development path of Azerbaijan since June 15, 1993, and the successes achieved. The scientist said that with the return to power of national leader Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan has entered a new stage. The ideas of the great leader Heydar Aliyev regarding our social, political, economic and cultural life have already become the reality of Azerbaijan. The wise political course and strategic line defined by the Great Leader is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, and our country is developing rapidly.

At the event, the chairman of the Institute's Workers' Committee, PhD in biology, Shakar Mukhtarova, scientific secretary, PhD in biology, Khuraman Khalilova, the chairman of the Young Scientist and Specialist Council, Aydan Zeynalova, and other speakers spoke about the social, political, and historical significance of the National Liberation Day.
