This was announced by the general director of the Institute of Botany, professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva.

According to her, the presentation of the book is scheduled for May 22 –“Biodiversity Protection Day”.

It should be noted that by the “Regulations on the Red Book of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, approved by the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the publication of the “Red Book” is planned every 10 years. The first “Red Book” published in 1989 included 140 species of flora and 108 species of fauna, the second book published in 2013 included 300 species of flora and 223 species of fauna.
