Today, an event dedicated to June 15 - National Salvation Day was held at the Institute of Botany, MSE RA.

First, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed, and the memory of the National Leader and our martyrs who died for the integrity of the homeland was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Opening the event, general director of the Institute, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva said that June 15 - National Salvation Day is a turning point in the history of our statehood.

In 1993, the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, who showed an example of dedication on the path to saving Azerbaijan, returned to power at the insistence of the people and managed to bring our country out of a difficult situation. Great Leader Heydar Aliyev's ideas about our socio-political, economic and cultural life have already become the reality of Azerbaijan.

The wise political course and strategic line defined by the Great Leader are successfully and confidently continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Those who spoke at the event talked about the development path of Azerbaijan since June 15, 1993, the socio-political, historical significance of the National Salvation Day, and the successes achieved.
