Sevgi Kolayli, professor at the Karadeniz Technical University, visited the Institute of Botany, MSERA. General Director of the Institute, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, informed the guest about the scientific research directions, international relations, joint projects and achievements of the Institute of Botany.

The main purpose of S.Kolaly's visit was to hold discussions on organizing a joint international conference. During the discussions, the importance of concluding a memorandum of cooperation for organizing joint projects and conducting joint research was emphasized, and preliminary agreement was reached to hold an international conference. It was noted that the main goal of the conference, which will be jointly organized by Karadeniz Technical University, Nakhchivan State University and the Institute of Botany, is to expand research on the use of wild plants, aromatherapy, phytotherapy and apitherapy.

Finally, the guest got acquainted with the Museum of Botany of the Institute, Herbarium Fund, and laboratories, and expressed his satisfaction with the meeting, highly appreciating the scientific research work conducted at the Institute and the prospects for cooperation.
