Fourth-year students of the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University (BSU) completed an internship at the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education.

Accompanied by specialists from the Institute of Botany, BSU students became closely acquainted with the scientific research work and modern equipment carried out in the departments and laboratories of the Institute, and acquired theoretical and practical knowledge.

They were taught how to prepare and store herbariums, extract biologically active substances from plants, as well as new methods related to ethnobotany and phytointroduction, and methods for determining enzymes and various forms of nitrogen.
