| Scientific achievements | - In 2019–2025 herbarium specimens of ornamental trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants were collected in the Absheron National Seaside Park (51 families, 78 genera, 97 species); in the Philharmonic Garden (34 families, 45 genera, 55 species); in the Samad Vurgun Garden (23 families, 32 genera, 35 species); in Khagani Park (29 families, 41 genera, 46 species); in the Flowers Park (21 families, 29 genera, 37 species); in Sahil Garden (16 families, 26 genera, 28 species); in Sabir Garden (32 families, 42 genera, 50 species); in Nizami Garden (21 families, 30 genera, 35 species); in the Heydar Park of the Khatai district (41 families, 72 genera, 100 species) and in Chamberekend Park (33 families, 58 genera, 65 species). Photographic documentation was carried out. The taxonomic composition, origin and biological characteristics were studied; plants were grouped in compositions according to their biological and ornamental traits; principles of composition design were analyzed, along with pruning forms of ornamental trees and shrubs, rules for the use of small architectural forms, and features of Japanese garden design. Promising plant species were selected and recommended for landscape design and greening.
- In the parks and gardens of various regions of Azerbaijan (Goygol National Park, Lankaran–Astara region, Balakan, Gazakh, Shamkir, Gabalа and Shamakhi districts), the taxonomic composition, origin and biological characteristics of ornamental trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants were studied, as well as the principles of composition design;
