Particular attention should be paid to improving the systems of semi-arid natural landscapes, especially in drought-prone regions, to their rational use, and to identifying related nutrient limitations. In the field of biological diversity, it is necessary to study biodiversity measures for higher and lower plants based on various methodologies, the interactions between and within plant species, and spectral diversity. One of the main areas of activity is to generalize the monitoring and assessment methodologies of plant diversity, to combine spectral diversity with biodiversity measures, and to discuss the prospects for their application in research. In this field, the development and implementation of patents and projects must be carried out. |
