The seminar on the “Collection and identification of herbarium materials” was held at the Institute of Botany of ANAS. The seminar organized according to the first activity plan of the Council of Young Scientist and Specialists of the Institute, Dr. Parvana Garakhani, head of the Department of Herbarium provided extensive information about the organization and safety rules of expeditions, protection of plant diversity, collection, drying and preparation of herbariums. At the end the questions of young specialists were answered and the discussions were made around the subject.
