The next volume of the Scientific Works of the Institute of Botany of ANAS, which has been traditionally published since 1936, except for historical transitions in the country, has recently been published. In line with the challenges and priorities of the science development strategy in the Republic, the attitude towards young researchers and experts has dramatically changed over the last years and conditions for furfilment and development of potential has been created. In this regard, the pages of volume are dedicated to the scientific findings of the research conducted by the young researchers and PhD students of the Institute of Botany together with their scientific supervisors and consultants. Articles in volume XXXVII intended for wide audiences are only available in English.

     The volume begins with the foreword of academician Valida Alizade, Director of the Institute of Botany and editor-in-chief of the scientific publications and covers the different fields of botany, as well as 20 articles on mycology.
