Director of the Institute of History, acad. Yagub Mahmudov shared his views on the annual report of the Department of Social Sciences (DSS) at the meeting of the Presidium of ANAS. He underlined that humanitarian reforms in the Academy recently made it necessary for the establishment of the DSS.

Y.Mahmudov recalled the views of President Ilham Aliyev on the history of science at the 6th congress of the NAP.

According to the scientist, one of the greatest achievements recently gained at ANAS is the purposeful measures taken to attract young people to science. He emphasized the importance of the magistracy education created in ANAS in this direction.

Y. Mahmudov underlined the importance of taking serious measures in this area for the integration of science into world science. He also pointed out the importance of the rapidly acquiring scientific achievements to the country and the world community.
