According to AR President Ilham Aliyev's Decree dated February 1, 2019 "On Presidential Award for Youth in 2019", the persons specializing in culture, science, education and public spheres were granted the Presidential Awards for Youth.

     Head of the Human Genetics Laboratory of the Institute of Genetic Resources, PhD in Medicine Allahverdi Shahveranov was awarded for his scientific work.

     The prize consists of 10,000 manats, a diploma, a badge and an award certificate.
