The article of academician Valida Alizade, Director of the Institute of Botany of ANAS and scientific worker Aida Ibrahimova, Head of the Seed Bank Sector was published in the international journal “Samara” prepared by the Millennium Seed Bank Partnership of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

      The article “To Achieve the Global Strategy Target 8 for the Conservation of Plants of Azerbaijan” covers the conclusions of the research works carried out for the ex situ  conservation of plant and genetic diversity of Azerbaijan, specially endemics, endangered and useful priority species. The research was conducted within the framework of a number of projects towards the protection of the Caucasus flora started since 2012 between the Institute of Botany of ANAS and the Millennium Seed Bank Partnership.
