Scientific-practical seminar on "The molecular genetic basis of biodiversity of genetic resources" was held at the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS in connection with Science Day.

     Representatives from the Institutes of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS, as well as employees of Azerbaijan Medical University, attended the seminar.

     The event was opened by the director of the institute, correspondent member of ANAS Zeynal Akperov and said that the seminar was held with the decree of the head of state on April 9, 2018. He also pointed out that the Scientific Research Coordination Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan adopted the Action Plan on January 17, 2019.
