ANAS Central Botanical Garden (CBG) organized a scientific and educational exhibition on "Rare plants of the Caucasus flora" with the aim of conveying to the public scientific advances in the study of rare plants in Azerbaijan on March 27-29.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Director of CBG, Doctor of Biological Sciences Vahid Farzaliev spoke on the role of the Central Botanical Garden in studying the richness and diversity of the Caucasian flora. He congratulated the staff on the Science Day and wished them success in their activities.
Director of ANAS Institute of Botany, academician Valida Alizade noted the importance of the work carried out in this area and spoke about research in the modern world, about the new approach, stressing the importance of preserving the plant wealth of our country.
Then, the participants got acquainted with the exhibits on display at the exhibition and the sites with rare plants.
