Under the guidance of Dr. Vahid Farzaliyev, Director of the Central Botanical Garden of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the employees of the Garden were on an expedition to Eldar Pine State Reserve.

The expedition aimed at monitoring the natural restoration of Eldar Pine, one of the rarest plants of Azerbaijan. Increasing dynamics of other rare plants distributed in the reserve area have been also observed.
