On May 10, academician Akif Alizade, President of ANAS met with chairmen of specialized Councils on Master's Thesis Defence.
A. Alizade talked about the importance of master education in ANAS. He noted that one of the main directions of reforms carried out in ANAS is the integration of science and education. In order to achieve effective integration of science and education in the field of high specialized personnel training, and to meet increasing need of the Republic to competitive specialists, master’s degree was established in ANAS in 2015 with the support of country leader for the first time in the history of ANAS. The main aim is to involve the young people to the scientific environment, to strengthen their scientific thinking and to increase their role in the successful development of ANAS.
