Pupils of school No. 6 of Yasamal district visited the Institute of Botany of ANAS. They were familiarized with the directions of the Institute and conducted research works.

PhD Shahla Mirzayeva, research scientist of the Department of Higher Plant Systematics gave information to pupils about valuable type samples saved in the Herbarium Foundation, their keeping condition as well as digitalization and inclusion to European Data Base. Young specialist Khanim Hasanova acquainted the pupil with exhibition “Green Treasure of Azerbaijan” and interactive map demonstrated in the Museum of Botany and provided information about habitats of ten classic relict tree species of Hyrcanian forests.
