According to the decision of the Presidium of ANAS dated March 4, 2015, admission to the doctoral program and doctoral examinations in the Academy are conducted in English under the academic IELTS program.
This exam enhances the skills of young scientists of ANAS to improve their reading, speaking and writing skills in English, their free use of foreign literature, and their relationship with international research centers to increase access to prestigious scientific bases.
In addition, applicants have the right to apply for doctoral studies in a foreign language and to choose German or French for doctoral exams.
The President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh has issued a decree "On improving the quality of doctoral and admission exams in German and French" to provide that applicants' knowledge of these languages is appropriately assessed.
According to the document, applicants to the doctoral exams of ANAS and starting the winter exam session of this year will independently pass the B2 level of Goethe certification exam in German, and pass the DELF exam in French with B1 or B2 level. The staff must submit to the Head Office of Science and Education.
