Within the framework of the Memorandum of Agreement on the scientific collaboration between the Institute of Botany of ANAS and the Institute of Botany named after V. L. Komarov of RAS defender of thesis, Khatira Gasimova and PhD student Shabnam Isayeva were on a scientific mission to the Institute of Botany named after V. L. Komarov in Saint Petersburg, Russia. During the research, the young researchers studied the anatomical structure of the vegetative organs of fodder plant seeds in the Laboratory of Anatomy and Morphology of Plants, as well as conducted a palinological researches in pollens of plants collected from the mud volcanic areas of Azerbaijan. During the visit, presentations by Khatira Gasimova on “Climate change and abiotic stress: root-trunk relationships in various forage plants (Kur-Araz lowland, Azerbaijan)” and by Shabnam Isayeva on “Flora, Vegetation and Palinology of Mud volcanoes (Azerbaijan)”.
