An online scientific conference on "National Salvation Day of the Azerbaijani people: a celebration of civil solidarity and national resistance" was organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Academy (CYSS) and Territorial Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party of ANAS.

Opening the event, the chairman of CYSS, PhD in Physics, Associate Professor Famin Salmanov said that in 1993 our country faced the threat of disintegration, and at the same time the great leader Heydar Aliyev saved the people from these troubles. He said that after the national leader returned to power for the second time at the request of the people, he prevented the chaos and civil war in Azerbaijan.”

Salmanov stressed that during the rule of Heydar Aliyev, many successful reforms were implemented in the field of education, the experience of developed countries was studied and Azerbaijani youth were sent to study at prestigious universities around the world.

Then the chairman of the Women's Council of ANAS, professor Rena Mirzazadeh spoke about the historical services of the great leader Heydar Aliyev. Gender equality has always been in the focus of the national leader, and the wise policy of the great leader has a special role in preventing cases of gender violence in our modern society, she noted.
