The employees of the Montpellier Institute in France, Dr. JoanninSébastien and doctoral student Lucas Dugerdil were guests of the Institute of Botany of ANAS. The meeting was attended by Dr., prof.SayyaraIbadullayeva,acting director general of the Institute of Botany, ANASand Dr.ParvanaGarakhani, head of the Herbarium Departmentof the same Institute and the guests were informed about the Institute’s international projects, research work and future plans. Detailed discussions were held on the expansion of scientific relations and a preliminary agreement was reached on the signing of a memorandum of cooperation.

The guests also visited the Herbarium Foundation and laboratories of the Institute.
