Senior researcher of the South Siberian Botanical Garden of the Altai State University of Russia, associate professor Alexei Voganov was a guest of the Institute of Botany of ANAS. Director General of the Institute, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva informed the guest about the research directions, international relations and the work carried out. In turn, Voganov spoke about the activities of his organization and its research work.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Institute of Botany and Altai State University of Russia. The memorandum envisages the organization of joint projects on the study of biodiversity, exchange of staff and experience and joint research.

A.Voganov got acquainted with the Herbarium Fund, Botanical Museum, departments and laboratories of the institute.
