On November 30, 2021, there was a solemn online ceremony of awarding the Ecoworld International Prize (“Ecomir”) at the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences in Moscow.

Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev - Chairman of the Azerbaijan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, member of the Board of Trustees of Ecoworld and chairman of the jury for announcing the results of the competition in the nomination “Environmental Policy and Environment”, took part in the awarding of the laureates of the competition.

The international environmental award Ecoworld is the successor to the national award “Ecomir”, established in 2003 by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and awarded for achievements in the field of environmental protection. In 2017, it acquired an international status. This year the award brought together 200 projects from 35 regions of Russia and 20 countries of the world.
