Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Botany Aydan Zeynalova and young employee Aygun Bagirova are on a trip to Lahore State University (Lahore), Pakistan to participate in an international training.

Under the leadership of the head of the Department of Botany, prof. Tehreema Iftikhar, the young specialists visited the International Textile Test Laboratory to get acquainted with the equipments of different laboratories operating in one of the private companies in Lahore and the work carried out there.

According to the general manager of the company, prof. Sarim about 5000 types of test analysis such as chemical analysis, microbial analysis on drinking water, atmospheric air monitoring, solid waste in many industries such as environmental protection, food processing, textiles, chemicals, oil and gas, agriculture and dyeing are performed.

Analyzes are performed using modern chromatography and spectroscopy methods.
