The textbook “Geography” for the 6th grade of a comprehensive school was published in collaboration with the general director of the Institute of Geography named after academician G.A. Aliyev of ANAS, doctor of geographical sciences Zakir Emin, head of department, associate professor Zaur Imrani and others.
The textbook consists of 10 parts and covers such sections as the history of development of geographical knowledge, a description of the earth's surface, geographical maps, the structure of the solar system and planet Earth, the lithosphere, the atmosphere, the biosphere, the hydrosphere, location of countries and peoples of the world and the economic activities of peoples, as well as nature protection.
