Employee of the Department of Mycology of the Institute of Botany of ANAS Yagut Yusifova participated in the International Symposium on “Digital Technologies for the Future World” held in Islamabad, Pakistan with the support of COMSTECH. Chairman of Prime Minister's Task Force on Science and Technology of Pakistan, Professor Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman, Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General COMSTECH, speakers and participants of the symposium discussed the importance of creating and applying new technologies in the Covid and post-Covid eras. In total, more than 140 participants from Pakistan, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Italy, Denmark and China raised topical issues at the symposium. In addition to the negative effects of the pandemic, the importance of using robots, drones, remote sensors and computer imagery in the modern world, including biodiversity, food monitoring, field research and mapping, and plans for the use of continuously improving machines and analytical tools to save time and money in effective management of farms have been widely discussed.
