On May 5-6, 2022, the Republican Conference on “Karabakh literary and cultural environment in the new perspective”dedicated to the 270th anniversary of Shusha will be organized by the Ganja Branch of ANAS.
The purpose of the event, which will take place in accordance with the Presidential Decree on declaring 2022 the “Year of Shusha” in the Republic of Azerbaijan, is to study the history, prominent personalities, national-spiritual and socio-cultural heritage, literature, art and architecture of Shusha.
The conference will cover Shusha and its history as the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, the place of Shusha in the Azerbaijani literary heritage, art and architectural samples, religious and cultural monuments, our victory in the 44-day Patriotic War and other topics.
