Employee of the Mycology department of the Institute of Botany of ANAS Yagut Yusifova took part in the 15^th International Symposium on Organic Chemistry held in Karachi, Pakistan with the support of COMSTECH.

Prof Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, Chairman of Pakistan Science and Technology Task Force, Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General COMSTECH, as well as the well-known professors from Turkey, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Germany, Britain, Iran, Pakistan, China gave lectures on metal-based anti-cancer agents, use of haloxylon in nanoscience medicine in treatment of cancer, structure of anti-tuberculosis, anti-diabetes, anti-epilepsy drugs, natural products anti-leishmaniosis, biologically active substances with a new crystalline structure.
