On March 25, 2022, within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the Institute of Botany of ANAS and the Montpellier Institute of France, an online meeting was held. The meeting was attended by Dr., professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, General director of the Institute of Botany of ANAS, Dr. Parvana Garakhani, Head of the Herbarium Department, PhD student Shabnam Isayeva, researcher of the Institute, Elnara Orujova, Head of International Relations Department, Dr. Shafag Bayramova, researcher of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics and employees of Montpellier Institute, Dr. Joannin Sébastien and PhD student Lukas Dugerdil.

Making a presentation, Lucas Dugerdil informed about the results of research on polynology and polybotany samples collected during the field expedition implemented in Ajinohur, Goygol, Zaligol in Azerbaijan in 2021. He also said he would visit Azerbaijan again in May-June this year. During the visit, the issues of organizing joint expeditions to the northern and southern regions of Azerbaijan and providing technical equipment were discussed. During the discussions, the polybotanical study of our territories was considered.
