Participants of the republican conference "New trends and innovations: Prospects for the development of Microbiology in Azerbaijan" dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS and the 90th anniversary of Academician Mammad Salmanov have visited the Alley of Honors to commemorate the architect and founder of our modern independent state, national leader Heydar Aliyev. They laid wreaths and flowers at his grave.

The memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated, and fresh flowers were laid at her grave.

The conference participants also paid tribute to the memory of well-known statesman Aziz Aliyev and prominent scientist, Academician Jalal Aliyev, and laid flowers at their graves as well.
