A report-election meeting of the new "Botanists" territorial first party organization of the Sabail district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) was held at the Botanical Institute of ANAS.

The general director of ANAS Institute of Botany, doctor of biological sciences, professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, the chairman of Sabail regional organization of NAP Mukhtar Nagiyev and employees of the Institute of Botany who are members of NAP took part in the meeting. First, a report on the activity of the territorial party organization during the past period was heard. The speakers satisfactorily evaluated the activity of the territorial party organization during the reporting period.

After the speeches, organizational issues were discussed. Professor Sayyare Ibadullayeva was unanimously elected the chairperson of the territorial party organization, Shahla Mirzayeva the deputy chairperson.

NAP Sabail regional organization chairman Mukhtar Naghiyev congratulated the newly elected chairwoman and deputy chairwoman, wished them success in their work, and called on the party members to participate more closely in the party's activities.

In the end, the applications of a group of people to join the party were reviewed. Future cooperation plans were discussed between NAP Sabail regional organization and Botany Institute of ANAS.
