A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Institute of Botany of ANAS and the Montpellier Institute of Scientific Evolution of France. The memorandum was signed by the Director of the Institute of Botany, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, and the CNRS regional representative, Jerome Vitre. According to the memorandum aimed at the development of science, the parties agreed to conduct joint research in palynological, paleobotanical and botanical fields, exchange personnel and experience, organize joint projects and expeditions, exchange collected research samples, hold meetings, seminars and conferences involving interested parties.
