In 2022, the 4th meeting of the Problem Council on Biological, Agricultural and Medical Sciences of the Coordinating Scientific Research Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.

Vice-President of ANAS, Chairman of the Problem Council, Academician Irada Huseynova opened the meeting on the "Zoom" program and noted that the 45 topics discussed were widely discussed in the working groups on botany, zoology, agrarian and physico-chemical biology.

Dissertation topics were presented by Dr. Sayyara Ibadullayeva, Doctor of Biological Sciences for the Botany Working Group, Doctor of Agrarian Sciences, Professor Mustafa Mustafayev for the Agricultural Working Group, Saleh Maharramov, Doctor of Biological Sciences for the Zoological Working Group and Doctor of Philosophy for the Physico-Chemical Biology Working Group, associate professor Sabina Omarova.

Members of the Problem Council, working groups, as well as claimants, scientific supervisors and advisers of relevant dissertations took part in the discussions led by Academician Irada Huseynova.

6 works on botany, 1 on zoology, 16 on agriculture and 10 on physico-chemical biology, a total of 33 works were positively assessed and registered with changes in the names of some subjects, 12 works were returned for reconsideration.
