In 2022, the 5th meeting of the Problem Council on Biological, Agricultural and Medical Sciences of the Scientific Research Coordinating Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.

Vice-president of ANAS, chairman of the Problem Council, academician Irada Huseynova opened the meeting on "Zoom" program and said that 16 dissertation topics will be discussed.

Then the Secretary of the Problem Council, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Dilzare Aghayeva presented those topics.

Members of the Problem Council, working groups, as well as claimants, scientific supervisors and advisers of relevant dissertations took part in the discussions led by Academician Irada Huseynova.

Corresponding member of ANAS, Ilham Shahmuradov, professors Eldar Gasimov, Emma Aghayeva, Nizami Bagirov, Sayyare Ibadullayeva, Rovshan Khalilov, Elman Isgander, Doctor of Medical Sciences Sayman Gadimova, Doctor of Biological Sciences Shahniyar Bayramov and others spoke and expressed their attitudes and relevant proposals.

As a result, 14 cases were approved with changes in the names of some topics, and 2 cases were returned for reconsideration.
