Professor Kausar Maliki, director of the Center of Excellence in Molecular Biology of Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan, visited the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies (İMBB).

During the meeting, general director of İMBB, academician Irada Huseynova and director of the Center of Excellence in Molecular Biology of Punjab University, professor Kausar Maliki signed a memorandum of agreement on the establishment of an academic cooperation program between these organizations.

The memorandum provides for the exchange of information on research and educational programs, the organization of specialization programs on scientific fields of mutual interest, the implementation of joint research projects and educational programs, the organization of conferences, seminars and master classes and etc. The signed memorandum is important for the training of young personnel of the institute in new scientific areas and in the field of education.
